BVJ and Small Town Saturday Night Named as Finalists for two Alto Awards

October 11, 2017

ev+ AGENCY is sending a huge shout out to our amazing clients, Panhandle Productions and Trixstar Productions, for their tireless and visionary work behind the scenes of the Big Valley Jamboree and its Small Town Saturday Night, both of which were named as finalists for two Travel Alberta Alto Awards, in the categories of Tourism Event or Festival and Alberta Pride.

The Alto Awards recognize individuals and organizations committed to enriching Alberta’s tourism industry, through actions that inspire others and demonstrate what can be achieved by working together—a mandate that perfectly describes the collaborative efforts of Panhandle, Trixstar, and ev+ AGENCY.

In its 25th anniversary year, the Big Valley Jamboree continues to drive economic prosperity and tourism in the Camrose region, with a festival brand synonymous with the best talent in country music and its embrace of what it means to be a country music fan in Alberta. Building on this embrace, Panhandle and Trickstar expressed their gratitude for rural Alberta’s support through BVJ’s Small Town Saturday Night—a province-wide contest among rural communities, with successive rounds of voting that tapped into Alberta’s’ pride, and brought the winning small town the magic of BVJ for one exclusive night only.

ev+ AGENCY was thrilled to contribute to and sponsor both these amazing Alberta tourism opportunities, backing them with digital + traditional marketing strategy and creative content. We’re grateful to work with such amazing clients, and we wish them all the best in the finals!
